This policy explains what Lainey collects, why we collect it, who processes it, and how you can control it. It reflects the app behavior where a purchase email may become a Lainey account for order and subscription management.
If you buy with an email address, we may create an account for that email. You can sign in with an email code. Marketing consent is separate.
We do not monitor the sites you visit, app traffic, message content, or call content through your eSIM connection.
You can delete your account in settings or contact support. Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, fraud, payment, or security reasons.
Email address, name if provided, sign-in method, account identifiers, referral code, support identifiers, and whether an email has been verified. When you purchase with an email address, we may create a Lainey account for that email so you can access your orders, eSIMs, subscriptions, rewards, and support.
Plans purchased, destination or region, order status, ICCID, activation details, access code, subscription status, renewal history, refunds, points activity, and support history related to the order.
Total data, remaining data, plan validity, profile status, and network/provider status available through our eSIM infrastructure partners. We do not see the websites you visit, message contents, app traffic, call contents, or browsing history carried over the eSIM connection.
Payment intent identifiers, receipt email, billing events, card network metadata, payment status, saved-payment references for Subscribe & Save, and chargeback or refund records. Full card numbers are handled by Stripe or another payment processor and are not stored by Lainey.
IP address, approximate country from Cloudflare headers, device and browser information, session cookies, language and currency preferences, logs, error reports, rate-limit records, push notification subscription data if enabled, and security events.
Onboarding preferences, manual destination interest, recently viewed destinations, notification preferences, marketing consent, referral activity, support tickets, support chat transcripts, and email messages you send to us.
We share information with service providers only as needed to operate Lainey, comply with law, secure the service, process payments, deliver eSIMs, provide support, and prevent fraud. We do not sell personal information.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Lainey, maintain orders, support subscriptions, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and secure the service.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the data we process. No internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
We use cookies and local storage for sign-in sessions, language, currency, location preference, security, checkout, push preferences, and core app behavior.
Analytics may be used to understand product performance and reliability. You can control many browser-level storage and cookie settings in your browser.
Lainey is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact support@lainey.app.
Lainey is used by travelers and may involve processing in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Data protection laws may differ from those in your location.
